One weekend every month, Ed Dix presents 'Ain't Nothing But Techno (ANBT)' at PRIVI Kuala Lumpur – a party series that freely explores and experiments with the techno spectrum, aiming to unite fans of both old and modern styles of techno. It will consist on a journey through the wide range of the genre in which he invites over his favourite DJs, peers and new talents. 

Ed Dix's sound is defined by his high-octane performances and unparalleled ability to engage and connect with the crowd, propelled forward from the debris of techno, indie dance and hard drive. Essentially, his intention with his style is to make interesting club music that has emotional resonance. 

DJ Alam Kuala Lumpur

In this coming episode on NOVEMBER 25, ANBT welcomes one of the most respected figures in KL underground scene and Ren (Kyo KL ) resident DJ… Alam. From gaining popularity in Melbourne in the middle 2000s, hosting his own night at some prolific venues he finally returned back to KL after seven years and joined Ohrwurm-one of the well respected underground music movements as a third party. He has already released his Kaleidosimple EP under Redflux Cinnabar in 2011 and supported numerous big international acts like David Mayer, Seth Troxler, Baikal, Hernan Cattaneo, Joris Voorn and. Taking influences from both Detroit techno and groovy tech House, his unique approach to electronic music makes for an exciting DJ set.

Joining forces also for Nov 25, Slutski and Antype, ANBT favourites in the game. They are at the forefront of the local underground scene with their monthly party Dictatorship. They can both legitimately claim to be purveyors in a few distinct genres including, Leftfield house and techno, indie dance nd acid techno. An all-around good egg, Odd joins in with his wicked style and the Headroom honcho has continued to evolve to incorporate fresh sounds old and new, into his unparalleled sets.
