Mark Flynn aka The Drifter hails from the picturesque seaside town of Greystones in County Wicklow, Ireland. He arrived onto the scene with the beautiful "Lovers EP" in 2012 and although not necessarily as prolific as his peers when it comes to his original output, he makes his mark in many other ways.
Mark is a founding member of the maeve label along with close friends Mano Le Tough and Baikal - the imprint, born in Berlin in 2012, has steered a slow and steady course through the years, releasing highly thought out and interesting electronic music.

Oblique is a Berlin-based artiste framing genre-bending and pulsating soundscapes together with a non-conformist attitude. Drawing influences from his wide cultural background, each release communicates a different take on electronic music.
When a sound wave hits a surface, acousticians distinguish between the different angles of incidence - oblique incidence is when a sound wave hits the barrier in a non 90˚ angle.
Since oblique incidence is not straight, it is rather reaching the inevitable purpose with a different angle every time. Supported by Aryzeadora Rahim Dé Luz & Injoo Wie for the night. Free entry.
