DANI is a young aspiring Jazz/blues singer that has been captivating the local indie music scene since mid of 2015. She has quickly become a favourite at venues such as No Black Tie, Ril’s Bar, Le Noir, Merdekarya and many more. She has also performed at IP Jazz Festival, JB, Publika Jazz Festival, KL & Johor International Arts Festival.
With her unique voice, she makes covers sound vintage, and has most recently been writing and performing her own originals. DANI is inspired by the likes of Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse, Brittany Howard, Adele & Nai Palm.
On Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, DANI and her band will be headlining a show at Shook KL . Supporting her are a group of talented musicians including Jerry Lim (drummer), Bazli (guitarist), Hng Lih (Bassist), Sylvia Wong (Keyboardist) and a brass section that includes Apit, Faris, and Pako.
