The Daydream Pool Party in Kuala Lumpur hits Edition 22 this SUNDAY DECEMBER 10 at Luna Bar KL, with nine hours of poolside fun starting from 3pm till midnight covering dance music from hip hop to sunset chill house to techno and basically everything in between.

Special guest JP Lantieri makes his Daydream debut this Sunday. After years evolving in the rich cultures of Asia, where his melodic techno DJ sets with some incursions towards tech/deep/progressive house got the appreciation of the clubbers, London-based French producer/JP Lantieri relocated to the vibrant music scene of London where he is playing in many of the metropolis major clubs,

including EGG and Ministry Of Sound, festivals like the lovely Transitions London, releasing track after track on labels like Egothermia, Black Hole / Magic Island Deep, Universal Music Emotion, Deep Motion, Right Recordings, Poolside, In You Records, Darkest Before Dawn, compiling his regular Enigma show broadcasted on selected radios in Europe and USA, regularly playing on radio shows like the Laurent Schark Selection live show reaching 3 million listeners, getting support from tastemakers like Sasha, Acumen, John 00 Fleming, Oliver Schories, Cevin Fisher, Carl Cox, Luigi Madonna, Pete Tong, Robert Babicz, Judge Jules, Afrojack, Boy George, DJ Mag España, Mixmag Adria, AFFKT…

… and managing his label Flemcy Music.

JP’s passion for music was ignited while still in his teens, when a dusty antique piano was delivered to his family’s home. That ultimately launched his life-long musical journey.

A cosy Parisian apartment, an old piano slightly out of tune, a mother whose nimble fingers fly on the keys to play a sonata by Chopin or Liszt, that was the first memory of JP Lantieri's childhood and intense music.

As years went by, the love of music is there, but its social environment and the education received do not favour the possibility of an artistic career. The path that is then imposed on him is that of a great school and an engineering degree.

Yet this strict framework would allow JP Lantieri to grow and develop his artistic talents, where so many others would have given up.

His professional activity at the time led him to live in different countries in Asia and the Middle East. It gave him the financial freedom to train in composition, arrangement and musical production. This period opened him to other cultures and influenced his musical beginnings.

His first two albums entitled "Lounge" and "Tempo" were released in 2009. They merge lounge music and world music. The doors of the DJing then opened to him. He creates with his friend DJ French Chris, the series of events "French Connection" in Kuala Lumpur and mixes also throughout Asia.

The work pays off and the recognition of the music community is there. In 2012, he was awarded the Gold VIMA Award as Best Electro/Dance Actet, a special distinction for the titles Gemini, I Feel Love, Kids and Geisha.

In 2015, he has won an award at the huge Independent Music Awards for his coming EP London Calling. He is inspired by a lot of artists, including Cristoph, Maceo Plex, Filterheadz, Melokolektiv, Skober, Enrico Sangiuliano, Christian Smith, Yotto, Moshic, Stephan Bodzin, Eric Prydz among others. His sound ranges from deep house to techno, via progressive house and melodic techno.

Making a return for his second appearance at Daydream will be Ctoo. CTOO was introduced to the world of DJ-ing in early 2009. By mid 2009 he became the In House DJ for the Therapy Session Parties that rocked Cyberjaya.

It was soon after, that he was introduced to event company Lash Kenar that further boosted his career into the Clubbing Scene. Since then he has played at venues such as Luna Bar, THE DEQ @ Ministry of Sound KL, Velvet Underground and Mainroom @ Zouk Club KL and many more to this day.

You’ll also get to enjoy the sounds of R&B and hip hop plus house and tech and chill out vibes from residents Alex Martin, Kuma, J-Sun, Helmie and Kooler, with Calvin Clarke on percussions and Axam live on saxophone.
