James Flynn & the Michael Veerapen Trio team up at No Black Tie KL over two nights this 28 & 29 June 2019.
Silky smooth vocals, swinging style and quick wit has had James Flynn engaging audiences around the globe for almost three decades. His repertoire focusses on the Great American Songbook but he takes a fresh approach with clever arrangements and his own inimitable touch. Add a sprinkling of original compositions and his infectious impromptu humour and you have all the ingredients of a great night out.
Flynn has had a colourful career to date, from supporting the late great Ray Charles in Australia, to performing with sax legend Dave Koz in the US. Along with countless stage and festival performances, Flynn has recorded 8 CDs and written and produced dozens of productions for theatre.
No stranger to Malaysia, Flynn is delighted to be returning to perform for friends and fans at No Black Tie and will be joined by the wonderful Michael Veerapen Trio. A not to be missed show for lovers of music and great entertainment.
