DJ Ken Fan returns to Marini’s on 57, opening the year’s first “It’s All About House Music” instalment on 25 January 2019.
Get ready for a night of eclectic sets from Ken as he spins tracks that range from downtempo music to deep dreamy, classic house and dubby techno.
A stalwart of the dance music industry, Ken broke into the scene in 1999 when he was scouted by UK house music Pioneers Miss Moneypennys to become one of its resident DJs. He has since toured the globe, earned a nomination for Pioneers Best Breakthrough DJ in The House Music awards in 2006. He has also worked with some of the world’s best venues.
He moved to Ibiza in 2009 where he now works as resident DJ at Café Del Mar Ibiza, in addition to being their event and music manager. DJ Ken has produced and released numerous tracks on various labels, including Strictly Rhythm and 303 Lovers, as well as producing a debut EP, I Won't Fall under his alter ego El Chino – a name given to him by DJ Sneak.
British born Chinese Ibiza resident Dj Ken Fan has been working in the industry for over two decades working and playing for institutions such as Space Ibiza, Ibiza Underground, Privilege, Pacha, Fabrik Madrid, Miss Moneypennys & Café Del Mar Ibiza” where he now resides as a DJ, as well managing and programming all the events, music and DJs for the global brand.
This seasoned chart topping DJ has had releases on labels such as I’m a House Gangster, Strictly Rythm, 303 Lovers, Phonetic and Harthouse. Future projects include his now current annual South East Asia tour, with tracks to be released in early 2019 with another album dropping at the end of the 2019 summer.
“It’s All About House Music – the Return of Ken Fan” starts at 9.00pm. The cover charge for the event is RM88 which includes entry to the event and a drink.
