OTAM is a singer-songwriter born and raised in the heart of Petaling Jaya MY. Playing mostly original compositions, his style is sorta funk-folk, feel-good, whatever-floats-his-boat-at-that-moment-in-time. Besides donning his classical guitar whenever he can, he is also an active member of FTP, a small support unit for local singer-songwriters. With a slew of songs written over the years up his sleeves, he is indeed one of Malaysia’s rare gems.

Q Sound at Alexis
New York City’s Q Sound is an experienced orchestral musician based in Kuala Lumpur who composes and performs in jazz, R&B and hip hop. Q Sound is no stranger in the jazz scene. He has performed alongside local greats such as Sheila Majid, Joe Flizzow, Zainal Abidin and introduced Malaysia to “big band” – a 15-piece musical ensemble with Q Sound & the 2nd Line in 2018. Since the first show at The Bee Publika in March 2018, Q Sound & the 2nd Line has performed for Publika Jazz Festival, Urbanscapes and Iskarnival all in one year. Q Sound’s debut EP, Duel Citizenship was nominated in the “Best Produced Album” category for Anugerah Industri Muzik in 2016 alongside Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza and Yuna – to name a few. Inspired by Anderson Paak, Q Sound is currently working on new material to find his own sound in the contemporary Jazz genre.
