Eloquent beyond her years, Samantha de Lune's smoky and distinct vocals provide a refreshing alternative from the norm. After 24 years, she has had an extensive portfolio ranging across public appearances, private and corporate events, TV commericals, films and more. With striking confidence and poise, de Lune has a flare for storytelling through song.
Michael Veerapen is an established Jazz pianist, producer, record studio head and mentor who launched his career even before graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music with Summa Cum Laude in 1982, making a name for himself in the industry. At the 2017 SEA Games grand opening ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur, Michael was the music director, composer and orchestrator, which was broadcasted live to all major ASEAN countries.

JULY 4: A Brazilian Evening with the Hady Afro Quartet ft Ida Mariana
Ida Mariana is a name not only in the Kuala Lumpur theatre scene, but also in the KL music scene. In 2013 she was in Portland, Oregon for some shows in the city where she also sang with Sean Ghazi at the 'Portland Summer Festival' at the Rose Garden Amphitheatre. She has done back up vocals on albums for friends Reshmonu and Sean Ghazi.
She is also no stranger to radio, voice over ads and TV commercials. After being active in the Kuala Lumpur theatre scene, she obtained a Masters degree in Theatre Studies in Sydney, Australia. Coming home she dived not only into lecturing/teaching and acting, but also found herself singing jazz at various night clubs finding her own ‘voice’ and a deepening love in music.

Publika Sessions is back but this time as a once a month 4-act affair! With hand picked acts from our roster of over a hundred musicians, be prepared for the best of the best and then some at The Square, Publika, featuring:
Dowandofla, an Ampang born and based rapper-songwriter. Transcribing experiences from his own life and the lives of the people around him into his lyrics, he blends his own personal tongue-in-cheek rapping chops with the styles of his greatest influences Russel, Manilla Grey, Sik-K and Cjamm to produce songs which are truly his own. His debut single “My Whip” was released in 2017 under the record label 40k and it received great applause from the local scene. He has since released 7 genre-bending singles, namely Cuba-Cuba, Santai Sabtu, Sunday Blues, Say My Name, Idowan and Gila Kapas, all of which are instantly recognisable as Dowandofla tunes. Darryl Thomas: His church walls and congregation were his first audience. Being an active member for the praise and worship team at present has only allowed his passion to sink deeper into him. Being an avid lover of the guitar created a constant urge in him to venture further into his passion. He has performed in an array of events and gigs along this journey of his. It has never been a hassle as his job was his hobby and his hobby his passion. Darryl composes and writes his own songs. Although he loves the 80s and 90s, slow rock and dances to old skool hip hop, the majority of his work caters to popular music, encompassing a large variety of genres. Ivory Series is the brainchild of Malaysian classical pianist Mei Lin Hii, aiming to combine classical music with various living art forms such as visual arts, dance, and poetry. With its monthly thematic happenings, the Ivory Series has seen collaboration and experimentation from paper art installation to dance duet, from poetry reading to video mapping, all within the intimate frame of a piano recital or a chamber music concert.
