Catch Paris-based and internationally acclaimed DJs Cézaire, Kartell and Zimmer as they will be bringing you euphoric, dreamlike sets with a tropical twist on house and disco that defines all Roche Musique's productions.
From House to R&B, Roche Musique leads the way to a new French Sound. Could it be called French Touch 3.0 ? Sure. This group of artistes is definitely shaping a new sound that has nothing to envy to its predecessors, and that is unmistakenly French.
Based in Paris but born in Tours, Roche Musique sees daylight in 2012. It's the brainchild of artist and label manager Cezaire, aka Jean Janin. After being an influential blogger and party maker, it was natural for Jean to start a label pushing his eclectic taste. Influenced by house, nu disco and funk, Jean quickly brought around him a team of young, promising talents to transform Roche Musique into one of France's reference labels.
Founder and artistic director of Roche Musique, Cézaire is a spearhead of the new French stage for international electronics. The France-based DJ is also a scouter of major artists such as FKJ and Darius. His heavy and powerful bass, pitch vocals and samples of funk, house and hip-hop are the image of the label. Cézaire released his first EP 'Seize the Day' in June 2016, a musical production both hip-hop and dreamlike.
Iconic figure of the trendy label Roche Musique, Kartell knew how to stand out within a few months as revolutionary among the Parisian electronic scene. From Kartell’s debut release through Roche Musique, Riviera, to his most recent EP, Tender Games, Kartell continuously evolves in a musical universe made of House tones, coloured by nu disco and R&B accents, which have become his signature.
With his tropical twist on house and disco, Zimmer has been taking Paris by storm. In the few years he’s been around, Zimmer’s made his name largely of blog-hit remixes and fun reworks, while his religiously followed mixtape series keeps listeners in a year-round summer state of mind. His original work proves just as good, and his euphoric sets have made him a staple in the international DJ circuit.
