Mother of Reunions For Malaysian Artistes Past & Present at Musicians for Musicians Benefit Concert

Musicians for Musicians Benefit Concert 2020 on 15 March 2020 at the Mines International Exhibition Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan, Selangor is expected to be something of a mother of all reunions of Malaysian artistes of the past and present.

This concert is organised by the Persatuan Pemuzik Tempatan Selangor (PPTS) in and will feature iconic Malaysian artistes from the 1970s and 80s who had performed at celebrated clubs in Malaysia.

Musicians on the live circuit from the 70s and 80s are the benchmark of intelligent, ambitious and uncompromising brands of music. They received distinction here and abroad for work of long-lasting significance and demonstrated extraordinary fortitude.

Their inspirational stories of resilience and passion are textbook encouragement for today’s young musicians. Patience and persistence are their hallmarks. These performances are voluntary as all monies raised from this concert are for the musicians who are going through difficult times without a safety net. In view of a long term effort, they hope to obtain support by musicians of this generation to join effort in unity and make a better change for the music industry of Malaysia.
