A former member of the Andromakers duo with whom she toured the world, Romea is a solo French electro-pop artist based in Cambodia and forms part of Le French Festival at Pisco Bar KL on the 20th April. A lover of the 1980s and 1990s scene, she creates a personal electro music inspired by hip-hop, lo-fi and R&B using analogue synths, spoken samples in French and sung parts in English.
After her noteworthy performance at the Diamond Moon Festival in Phnom Penh, this complete artist invites all of the wistful techno aficionados to dance at Pisco Bar.
The opening set by Rizki PK Maulana aka Lionel Rizki. Co-founder of Saturday Selects – a record label and collective of like-minded people who share the same passion for music. They look to create a platform and avenue to share music from up and coming artists from around the world and foster a strong community that supports these artists. They devote ourselves to support and document the young and upcoming music scene, which consist of local talents to ear-catching bedroom artists from around South East Asia and the world.
