Ushera celebrates the formative years of Malaysia’s contemporary music industry and pays homage to the contemporary Malaysian music scene of pre-independent 1940s and 1950s Malaya on 30 & 31 August 2018 for a Merdeka Special.
Through her past shows, Ushera does not only evoke nostalgic memories among members of Malaysia’s older generation, but also captured interest among Malaysia’s younger generation by transporting them to the bygone era of yesteryear Malaya. Most excitingly, the show will be backed up by a 6 piece ensemble with beautiful arrangements made by her musical director & producer Ganesh Bala. If you are a lover of Irama Melayu mixed with Latin beats & Jazz music, be sure to come catch on of the shows!
