No Request, Marc Tanner and Day Post go Taboo December 22
The second Taboo this month returns on Friday, December 22nd with Day Post, alongside Marc Tanner and No Requests (Zulu, Toolroom, UK) . The trio will deliver some back to basics music, and as every Taboo is different, this time expect some jacking house, UK garage and of course the basslines dance floor bangers that dictate how high the energy levels will be rising.
No Requests is bringing some fresh tunes, as their third and most recent release on Toolroom Records – Monsters is making waves at the moment. Basement Jam marks their first release on Hoxton Whores label – Whore House. Debut track 'Staccato' has already made waves on the global house scene with a premier from Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 and support from Mark Knight. It's inclusion on the Toolroom Ibiza 2017 compilation and subsequent Beatport success has cemented their way to the top of the dance ladder.
Marc Tanner is not only a Dj but equally an avid music lover. From pirate radio stations back in the UK, to collecting rare grooves on vinyl, Marc is a happy-go-lucky artist.
Day Post is also a seasoned artist. His music hails from his motherland – USA, and the western-hemisphere based influences are rendering some of the smoothest house sets we have ever heard. Soulful melodies, jazzy rhythms and a string of rather unique tune selections. Originally from New York, he started DJing in 1989 in the USA in locations such as New York, Boston, Palm Beach, and Aspen.
Day has DJ'ed all over the world from New York to Tokyo, but it was growing up in London during the explosion of house music, which originally propelled him into the world of dance music and clubbing. Influenced by such, DJ Day plays to suite the occasion.
