Retro Virtualsplash – Bringing the experience to you. From the creators of Retro Sunsplash comes a virtual 12 hour special this Sunday for a Mother's Day Special this Sunday 10 May 2020. 3pm to 3am (MYT) on the Virtuals. With the current restrictions on movement around the country, and with DJs live streaming from regularly, comes the idea of having something of a virtual version of the Retro Sunsplash festival that has been an annual feature for the whole of the last decade, according to Retro Sunsplash co-founder Jazzie Jay.
This Sunday's online event will feature DJs from around the country and beyond, including Jelly JJ from Perak, Limboifresh from Penang, K-Man from Sabah, and DJ Sam all the way from Norway, joined by Klang Valley residents Jazzie Jay, Jack Wee, Adrian G and Jason M and hosted by DJ Double D.
“We've always wanted to feature DJs from outside the Klang Valley. In the past, we've had to import one or two DJs from out of town or country. This time around we can now have many out of towner DJs playing in their respective states,” Jazzie Jay added.
Following in the tradition of the Retro Sunsplash parties of the past decade, this Sunday's online event will be a special charity, fund raising event. In conjunction with Mothers Day, proceeds will be donated to the Suriana Welfare Society, an NGO for crisis affected children and also single mothers. https://www.facebook.com/SurianaWelfareSociety/ and www.surianaresources.com
