The 29 year old Muzza, who hails from Kuala Lumpur, started performing in the local pub circuit at the age 19 together with his father and biggest musical influence, Lolen aka Din who was a former guitarist of Heavy Machine - a well-known Malaysian band in the 80s. Muzza has also performed in other countries that include Thailand, Germany, Singapore, India, France and Norway.
At the age of 23, Muzza launched his first Album titled “Find My Way Back Home” on the 6th of June 2014. Whilst Muzza is known as a predominantly hard rock-based musician, he chose to take a different route for the album, whereby he wanted to showcase his versatility as a guitarist and songwriter. Through the six songs on the EP, listeners are taken on a journey from blues and slow rock all the way to progressive rock and even jazz. Muzza composed all the songs on his own and his versatility and musical talent is highlighted on the track “The Pinks Have Flown”, where he plays all the instruments, including the drums and keyboards.
Muzza, together with his band at the time - Muzza's Mayhem - was the champion of the Global Battle of the Bands (Malaysia), and represented Malaysia at the global Battle of the Bands finals in Oslo, Norway in April 2015. On the 29th of October 2016, Muzza's Mayhem shared the stage with German legendary rockers The Scorpions as well as Malaysian rock stalwarts Wings, among others as the opening act of the Rockaway festival held in Sepang F1 circuit.
Local daily The Star aptly described the rise of Muzza's Mayhem as "from the pub to the world". Starting off in the pub circuit, Muzza has now performed on much bigger stages that include music festivals, corporate events, and getting radio airplay for some of his tracks off his debut EP "Find My Way Back Home".
