Ain’t Nothing But Techno(ANBT) is a party series that freely explores and experiments across the techno spectrum aiming to unite fans of both old and modern styles of techno. Returning to Privi KL this Saturday 30 June, ANBT (curated by Ed Dix) is a journey through the wide range of the genre in which he invites over his favourite DJs, peers and new talents.
Ed Dix's sound is defined by his high-octane performances and unparalleled ability to engage and connect with the crowd, propelling forward from techno, indie dance and hard drive debris. Essentially, his intention with his style is to make interesting club music that has emotional resonance.
Highly anticipated to join on this night is one half of Dangerdisko and founder of Beatmilita – Shaheed Naz, who will be expressing what's on his dark side. Dark electro-ish techno with fierce drums. This attraction is reflected in his solo productions and live sets. With or without Dangerdisko, he has had a devotion to the scene for almost two decades and this time spent honing his skills as a DJ/ producer has made him an essential man to listen to. They expect his set to be a highlight.
No stranger to the ANBT family, Dictator Slutski aka Keith Yong and anType will be captivating the night with their spellbinding sets. Both have honed their versatile selections from EBM, Leftfield sounds to Techno through their monthly parties – Dictatorship and other KL's prolific bars & clubs.
