If you are looking to put some festive cheer into your Chinese New Year (or just life in general), try delivery and takeaway from EQ’s famous restaurants – Kampachi, Etoile Bistro and Nipah. These restaurants offer a wide variety of delicious, high quality delights that can satisfy the distinct tastes of each family member.
A trusted favourite for Japanese food
Kampachi is a trusted favourite for Japanese food in KL Kampachi’s takeaway and the delivery menu offers choices of otsumami, makimono, gohanmono, yakimono, agemono, atsumono, menrui and desserts including Abekawamochi .
We were treated to the Vegetarian Bento which included fresh cucumber maki, inari sushi, fried tofu with mushrooms and fresh Japanese salad. We also enjoyed a simple yet flavourful mushroom miso soup and light-batter vegetable tempura. We capped off our Japanese fair with an order of Abekawamochi. The mochi was soft and generously covered in a sweet kinako-sugar mixture.
Pasta and Western cuisine
For those who enjoy pasta and Western cuisine, the Etoile Bistro takeaway and delivery menu comprises soups and starters, mains, pasta, sandwiches, baked goods, whole cakes and beverages.
Etoile is particularly well known for its Oven Roasted Duck Leg, Seabass Aglio Olio and Sourdough Bread. We ordered a Seafood Aglio Olio. The pasta was fresh and buttery, with a bit of chilli to spice things up.
We also devoured the Lemon Meringue Tart, which tasted even better than it looked – and it looked beautiful!
Local flavours
For those who are looking for more local flavours, the Nasi Goreng Kampung we ordered did not disappoint. Complete with savoury chicken satay, tangy acar, and keropok, it was a filling local fare.
Nipah offers an array of choices for takeaway and delivery that includes soups and starters, local eats such as the popular Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Goreng Kampung and Chicken or Beef Satay. Nipah takeaway also offers Chinese selections, pizza, pasta, Western classics, desserts, whole cakes and beverages.
The baked cheesecake with strawberry sauce from Nipah was delicious. For me, it was a perfect consistency – not too dense, not too light. And the crust and strawberry sauce brought it all together as a wonderful dessert.
