Altered Vision presents IMPULSE at Reggae Mansion Rooftop Bar this Saturday 15 December 2018.
Since 2014, Altered Vision has been bringing you the best Psychedelic Trance events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Their latest edition, Impulse, will comprise a multi-range of Psychedelic sounds featuring both international and local DJ acts that will progress throughout the night to take you on a cosmic and magical journey as the year end comes to a close. Join them for one final Altered Vision gathering stomp of 2018 after which they go on a break until their next event in March 2019.

By The Rain is a music project by Burak Ozsoy. He is a Turkish born, but since he has lived at places such as Australia, Bahrain, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, USA, Turkey; sharing his music and art. it was long ago when he started music with bands and rocking heavy tunes. in the last decade he has been actively expressing in the psychedelic scene with his projects. Covering organic yet powerful psytrance sets and his deep soulful chill out sounds.
After a successful Ep and many appearances on VA compilations, By The Rain continues to explore his path in music.
Ambient Energy, coming from Singapore, started as a bassist for two local metal bands called, "Lepak" and "Mephisto". From the occasional jamming to new experiments, so much has happened in a decade. Once band member and now DJ, this fella mainly plays Psytrance, with the occasional Downtempo as well as Techno. So, having graced bars, clubs and festivals in the past 6 years, he does a variety of styles under the Psytrance category, from Progressive to Hi-Tech - depending on the requirement. However, the meaning behind the term, "Ambient Energy" is simple. It's based on a collection of tracks built on massive atmosphere, and mixed with high intensity. Using experimental leads, topped with organic percussion. In here, you will also find cheeky riffs and funky fills! All that to give you a sense of heavy music with a casual edge~
fiQtion aka Shafiq Shuhaimi, an audiophile spiritual critter hailing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is unlike any other with his blend of unique sounds. He reveals his love and compassion for humanity by taking his listeners on a journey through time and space, bringing deep, soulful and emotional sound to the dance floor, blended with energetic melody and groovy pumping beats to create an eloquent experience wherever he plays. He is affiliated to Altered Visions as a DJ and as an Event Promoter. Together with local DJ's of various genres, fiQtion and Altered Visions are currently working on new projects and events in Malaysia to educate and expand the dance music scene and most importantly spread love to all.
Known for his relentless basslines on the dancefloor, Avatara is most at his flow state while throwing hard-hitting rhythms and melodic breaks behind the decks. Drawing influences from psychedelic, techno and forest elements, his musical spectrum is wide ranging and will compel you to dance your hearts out. He believes in sharing his vision of bringing light and darkness together in creating equanimity through music that speaks to the inner foot-stomper in you.
Taruntula is inspired by the spider species itself, maintaining a personality of calmness and only strikes when threatened. He’s always looking to blend in various Psychedelic and Techno beats and inject them with earthly elements. Specialised genres: PsyTech and Dark Prog.
