KL based collective focused on back2backs and party vibes ALTRMIND are back with a bang this Friday 2 August 2024 presenting their brand new weekend series, DISTRIKT.
Teaming up with the SALA collective and music label from Jakarta, and they are bringing you acts from neighbouring districts to ensure a night filled with nothing but pure party vibes.
For this inaugural edition this collaboration party will be featuring Ekanan (Cafe Del Mar Phuket Resident), SALA's Reno Renatama and Finish, plus our local stellar lineup of Rasul, Funkayrol, RJ, and husband-wife duo and ALTRMIND founders LUCKYBEANIE.
Ekanan, a staple of Thailand’s house and techno music scene since 2005, DJ and producer based in the beautiful Island Phuket; explores the sound from a deepest sea, melodic and organic profound resonance. He is one of those rare kinds of Thai artists that have an omnipresent quality and yet do not seek to make his name bigger than the music itself. In his sets he waeves harsh bass lines, percussive Afro sound and warm chords together with intense emotion and charisma.
SALA is a Jakarta-based DJ collective and event promoter that evolved from a conversation in a "Living Room" bringing an ultimate goal to build a platform for a community which brings people together from every religion, class, gender to blend and dance together. SALA co-founder Reno Renatama comes with over a decade of experience in mastering the art of electronic music. Known as a powerhouse in Indonesia's underground music scene, he’s captivated audiences from intimate parties to massive festivals. He's released music on the likes of Love International, Sweatbox Records, Spinach Recs, Left Right Rec and his own Sala Records, amongst others.
