In a recent interview, Omid also expressed his views on global issues, including his thoughts on Palestine.” Comedy is a powerful tool for expressing serious issues,” he shared, “The situation in Palestine is close to my heart and I believe humour can help bridge divides and foster empathy. Through my performances, I aim to highlight the human side of these conflicts and encourage dialogue,” Omid stated. Creating an example of empowerment through action, Omid also initiated fund-raising initiatives for Gaza via online screenings of his comedy tour helping to raise over £685,000 in aid of thousands of refugees.
