Brohemia! is a fictional utopia strictly for mature audiences founded on the ideals of brawn, beauty and brotherhood. As the city celebrates its 7th Annual City Parade, the Mayor launches Vitamin M, a controversial drug that claims to permanently enhance the lives of all Brohemians. While most cheer at this move, a sceptical few embark on a journey of revolt to change the course of Brohemia, for good.

Theatresauce was founded in 2016 and has since produced a series of published plays by international playwrights. A realization eventually surfaced, that these works – despite being beautifully written and thematically universal – were textually and contextually limiting. A lack of risk and urgency on our part also became apparent. Theatresauce today reimagines and challenges the way urban Malaysian audiences experience contemporary theatre, through the creation of new and bold works. Our theatre-makers thirst for interrogation and deconstruction – in both content and form – and are driven by the spirit of generosity and play. Theatresauce invites audiences to eventually participate in a similar way in the theatre.
