Mayhem Jam Round 5 debuts at Jiro Bangsar on the 21st April which is a new venue for them but with the same vibes. If you’ve been to one or you’ve heard of Mayhem Jam then you know whats up. This round is in conjunction with the Brooklyn Terry (USA) Workshop KL, your schoolin’ begins in the club.
US, UK and MY DJ talents finely brought together just for you. This time joining the dots between house, hip hop, UK garage, two step, funk, R&B and boogie down disco in one of the city’s hidden gem.
Brooklyn Terry is a member of the legendary NY based Elite Force, spreading the love of dance both as a teacher and a DJ. Taking cues from the legacy of his upbringing and throwing down his signature New York Style vibes. Laying down bomb after bomb .. anything from house to disco to hip hop to funk and back. This is gonna be straight up fiyahh!
DJ Soothsayer is a natural born selector. Watch him as he lays down some devastating slabs of hip hop, funk-laced breaks and his much loved UK garage that drove (and still drives) the London dancefloors wild.
If you were at the Kapela workshops or the 2nd Mayhem Jam you will know that DJ Sharky aka Leonard Sinclair can lay down a phat AF set. From slammin’ hip hop to sexy ass R&B via vocal house and disco.
All this and a full-on world famous Funktion One Sound System will take you on a journey through music for some proper dance floor action.
