Ibiza’s hottest Monday night party – Circoloco at DC10 – is set to recreate those island party vibes for one special night when it makes a debut party visit to KL this 30 November 2019 with headliner appearances from underground club music’s hottest acts of today Peggy Gou, Dixon and wAFF.
JK58 Asia and Club Kyo KL in partnership with AirAsia RedTix collaborate with iconic Ibiza entertainment connoisseurs Circoloco for a night of “joget” (dancing) at one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest, most recently revamped venues, RexKL; an old cinema turned entertainment hub right in the centre of the exuberant and bustling, KL Chinatown.
Born and raised in South Korea and now residing in Berlin following several years studying in London, Peggy Gou made her recording debut in January 2016 on Radio Slave's Rekids label with 'The Art of War Part 1', featuring a remix from Galcher Lustwerk (White Material, Lustwerk Music). With a diverse range of inspriations including J Dilla, Patrick Cowley, Yellow Magic Orchestra and DJ Sotofett, her productions immediately garnered attention for the maturity of their sound coupled with an uncanny ability to create instantly accessible dancefloor records.
Dixon is a Berlin-based house and techno, DJ, producer and label manager. He was the number one DJ on Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJ Poll every year from 2013 to the last annual poll in 2016.
From his roots in the clubland underground of Leeds and Hull, DJ-producer wAFF has gone on to become globally renowned. His schedule is relentless but he doesn’t cut corners. He’s the only British artist who’s recorded for all three European techno hubs, Sven Väth’s Cocoon, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Loco Dice’s Desolat. More music support will also come from KL based Alam, JonnyVicious and Biscuit.
The joint effort between JK58 and AirAsiaRedTix will incorporate sustainable products and services into the productions of the event, enable attendees to purchase exclusive products and services by ethical ASEAN labels as well as allow attendees to donate in support of AirAsia Foundation’s cause and jointly promoting activities during the event weekend. Our efforts include no single-use plastics, tetra-pack water bottles, portable ashtrays & bamboo RFID tags.
