January 2019 heralded a new era on Malaysia’s music front with the debut of the City Roars! Festival, an initiative dedicated to promoting independent music and arts from across the region. The one-day festival held at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre featured artistes from Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Japan, with four stages and side activities such as art bazaar, installations, workshops, talks and other side activities.
The festival returns this weekend 4 January 2020 to KLPac, Jalan Strachan, KL, with another awesomely curated line-up. City ROARS! Fest 2020 is presented by DISQOVR and jointly organized by Soundscape Records, Emerge Music and Dong Tai Du.
