Tuesday, May 2nd, saw Italian glamour descend onto KL with the Roberto Cavalli Fashion Show at MariStar Fashion Lounge. The event introduced a new season of FashioniStar Parties for the Star Hill Gallery venue by showcasing some recent designs fresh from the catwalk in Milan. The fun night gave the fashionistas of Malaysia an up-close look at the trends for Spring/Summer from the Italian fashion house.
The overall ambience of the event was true to form for a Marini Group event, with the MariStar providing a luxurious and elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the stunning clothes, footwear, and accessories on display both on the models and in the pop-up shop in one of the VIP rooms.
Guests sipped Chandon Garden Spritz and enjoyed the always delightful food in the form of delicious bite-sized treats such as mini focaccia pizzas, potato bon-bons, eggplant parmigiana, small bowls of pasta, and panna cotta with mixed berries that melted in your mouth. But we were not there for the incredible food and delectable cocktails.
When the show began, perfectly curated music accompanied the models as they sashayed down the stairs and around the room, adding to the overall experience and making it an unforgettable evening. The models oozed glamour and brought each piece to life, effortlessly gliding through the packed lounge with poise and grace.
The show was part of a series of FashioniStar parties at the MariStar Lounge over the coming months. Every 2nd Tuesday, similar events will take place at the venue, allowing those with an eye for high-end glamour the opportunity to enjoy an evening out with a difference, the 16th of May sees Tom Ford grace the catwalk and Philipp Plein on the 30th.
