After the Flume concert this week (23 August), the tempo and perspective evolves as Good Vibes presents Snow Patrol, the anthemic indie champions responsible for global hits like Chasing Cars and Run, make their Malaysian debut this 29 August 2019 in the middle of their first ever acoustic world tour.
Over a two-and-a-half decade career, Snow Patrol has carved out a unique place for themselves. Since their 1998 debut, Songs for Polarbears, which Pitchfork hailed as “an impressive piece of work,” their melancholy anthems of heartbreak and separation have mended hearts, and the band has racked up an impressive number of critical and commercial accolades, including 15 million global album sales, 1+ billion global track streams, 5 UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy and Mercury Music Prize nominated.
They emerged as heartsore musical prophets in the shadow of grunge and shallow pop, striking a chord in the minds, memories and hearts of listeners over 7 ground breaking, confessional albums with the latest – Wildness released last year 2018.
Following on from Wildness, this year, the band unveiled new song Time Won’t Go Slowly, part of a project that marks the band’s 25th anniversary. And just earlier this month came the Reworked EP 1, featuring Time Won’t Go Slowly and new versions of Chocolate, Crack The Shutters and Open Your Eyes.
