You better hold on to your shirt and your front seats, because India’s laugh machine, the notoriously talented Mumbai based former brand manager, now turned stand- up comedian, Rahul Subramanian is coming to Malaysia.
One of the most brilliant young talents from India, Rahul Subramanian will perform on May 7th with his hilariously funny show titled `Who Are You? at The Platform, Menara Ken TTDI at 8.30pm brought to you by LOL Asia.
Performing since 2014 after breaking into the comic scene by winning stand up competitions like Virgin Pants and Canvas Laugh Club (All India open-mics), as also the first ever YouTube Comedy Hunt (sketch video competition) along with his friend, Kumar Varun for their YouTube channel `Random Chikibum,’ Rahul has appeared in the most recent seasons of Amazon Prime Video shows `Comicstaan’ and `Comedy Premium League,’ in addition to his own and very successful `Kal Main Udega’ Amazon Prime Video special.
In March 2023, Rahul was featured in Amazon Prime Video’s crowd-work special Rahul Talks to People featuring unscripted and unrehearsed conversations with 6 different sets of audiences across 5 cities.
Gifted with a sharp sense of humour, the ability to extempore, and instant improvisations, comedy, Rahul believes, has helped him win people over, for ever since he gained fame, he has made the most of this notoriety.
Back on the road with his brand-new stand-up comedy special titled "Who Are You?' which commences its South East Asia Tour beginning with Malaysia, Rahul jests, “If you’re struggling to figure out who you really are, then don't worry, as this show will not be of help in any way!” Looking forward to his first show in Malaysia, Rahul quips, “Indians are everywhere; hence, we can perform anywhere.”
When he is not doing stand-up, or acting in videos by `Random Chikibum’ or `All India Bakchod,’ you will see Rahul pursuing his hobbies, which include seeing, waiting, and getting stuck in traffic. All things that help him write better jokes and sketches that make you go “hey, that’s happened to me too!”
