Jungle City Beats to feature Vicky Kroon at WETDeck KL this Saturday

Jungle City Beats featuring Vicky Kroon takes place this Saturday 27 April 2024 up on the WETDEck at W Kuala Lumpur.

DJ Vicky Kroon will be accompanied by LZZY and Sunrae to provide a sonically magical journey that you’ll never forget as they bring you up to a whole new level of their rhythmic jungle.

Vicky Kroon indulges you with a mysteriously uplifting melodic journey of tribal and indie sounds. Evolving rhythms fluctuate throughout her sets, decorated with soulful vocals and a deep groovy bass. Trippy textures and hypnotic frequencies mark as key elements in her sound. Holding the dance floor with addictively rolling baselines, crossing genres between dark disco, dark-wave, melodic house to techno and indie dance with influence from the 80's and 90's.

In 2015 she started to work for various clubs and festivals in Thailand: Kolour In the Park Festival, Cafe Del Mar Phuket and Baba Beach Club. In 2017 she moved to Ibiza and worked for: Heart Ibiza, Ushuaia, Hi Ibiza, Woomoon and Storytellers. With over 8 years in the scene her ambition has always been about bringing musical influence and experiences back home to Thailand.

She currently holds residencies at Pacha Ibiza, Mirage Paris and Cafe Del Mar Phuket. Her first collaborative release in 2023 was: "Under The Moon" with Ken Fan on Music For Dreams Label. Three more releases are coming up in 2024: "Yesterday", "Victoria" and “True Love” with Capoon, coming out on Bedouin’s label, Human By Default - all of which she did the singing and songwriting. Now she is working on more track collaborations in 2024 and a tour around Asia.
