WET Deck evolves into an electrifying urban jungle on 11 October 2025 as vinyl maestro and Malaysian legend Jungle Jerry makes his highly anticipated return to Kuala Lumpur.
Alongside him will be the equally legendary former Backroom KL cohort and DJ-turned artist painter extraordinaire - Nicky C, DJ-turned artist extraordinaire, as well as KL house heavyweight Shazan on the decks.
With a DJ career that spans three decades, Jungle Jerry has achieved the distinction of being the ‘Maestro of Mix’ within Malaysia’s Club scene and now in Australia. Commencing his career in The Backroom KL in Kuala Lumpur, he has been instrumental in transforming the expectations and standards of DJing in Malaysia and is responsible for elevating audience experience and expectations within the local club scene.
Local residencies during those decades include The Backroom*, ZOUK Club, Aristo, JIRO, The LOFt , Twelve SI, Atmosphere Club, Underground, Q Bar, twelveSI, Elements, Nouvo, Sugar, Euphoria by Ministry of Sound, all located in and around Kuala Lumpur, where he spun his signature House Tribal House mixes. The influence of the multi-cultural and ethnic aspects of Malaysian life has been instrumental in Jungle Jerry developing a music style that emulates a deep rooted sensitivity with his multi-ethnic house style mixes.
His expertise and imagination gathered as DJ, Producer, Music Director, Nine80 Musiclab and Modem Music Australia label owner transcends the conventional expectations, allowing him to effortlessly bridge the gap between house music and generations of listeners. He is also one half of Ted & Jerry and Limousine that have released a wide array of tech house tunes on the global platform.
