Presented by the China Cultural Centre in Kuala Lumpur & HANDS Percussion, this will be a contemporary world music improvisational band with an open concept. It adheres to the idea of combining traditional folk music with avant-garde, fashionable and diversified music. Based on the perspective of Chinese culture, the band holds a respective and inclusive attitude, and keeps close to modernity. It aims to protect and embody the spirit of traditional music culture by absorbing different music cultures and performing contemporary world music in a cross-border way with “Fusion”, “improvisation” and “cosmopolitanism” the main characteristics.
