Open Crack at Crackhouse

Is the smoking ban taking a toll on your social life? Did you choke on your Teh Ais when you saw the Raj Banana Leaf video? Do you wish you could tell all the racist people in the country to get lost? Or do you do a mean impression of Siti Kasim? Open Crack! open-mic night could be for you. Participants are given 3 minutes of stage-time and absolutely anyone can participate.

It's the ultimate Malaysian Comedy show! The Rojak Show is a showcase of Malaysia's best comics. Four acts, two performing in our mother tongue Bahasa Malaysia and two performing in English all of them undeniably hilarious!

It’s their legendary Weekend Headliner night! You know them, you love them the best comedy nights in KL! With huge names from all around the world, you’re guaranteed to laugh until you cry! Kicking off 2020 with a bang. The Crakmaster himself, Rizal Van Geyzel joined by some of Malaysia's finest will be putting on an off-the-cuff special with new mateiral, hilarious crowd work and even more laughter. Rizal van Geyzel is a strong presence in Malaysia's stand-up comedy scene and is well known as the co-founder of Crackhouse Comedy Club and One Mic Stand. As a comedian in his own right, Rizal has performed across the world, from intimate club gigs to festival shows in front of thousands of people. 0% politically correct and 100% hilarious, Rizal brings audiences anecdotes, stories, impersonations, and observations through his rapid-fire wit and acid-sharp delivery.

It’s a brand new year of The Joke Factory and it’s time to kick it off with some comedy. Hosted by Malaysia’s biggest comedian Papi Zak, this show features Prakash Daniel, Riezman Radzlan, Mad Sabah, and visiting US comic Esther Chen! Come celebrate 2020 with a bang!

At the DPF with the MPO

(January 4-5)

Start the new decade with the new 2020 season with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra kicking off with a Viennese New Year. Come celebrate the New Year in true Viennese style with the music of Johann Strauss II. Known as the “Waltz King”, he inspired a 19th century dance craze of swirling couples across the finest European ballrooms. Maestro Pietari Inkinen leads the MPO in this light hearted yet nostalgic selection of Strauss’ favourites. With some Chopin, Sibelius, Katchaturian, Farquhar and Dvorak thrown in for measure.
