APRIL 17: Crackhouse presents Stephen K Amos (UK)
As part of their 5 Year Anniversary Carnival, the Crackhouse is bringing some of the biggest names in comedy to KL for you and they have the legendary Stephen K Amos for one night only. Stephen K Amos is an international star who has performed all over the world, making a name for himself at prestigious festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival. In the UK, he is a household name having appeared on shows like ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘Mock The Week’, ‘QI’, ‘Have I Got News For You’ and more, and brings audiences to fits of laughter with his unceasing ability to charm and delight, and his honest delivery.

APRIL 18-21: Fragance (Wangian) – Restaged in KL
Inspired by the purported hauntings along the Vale of Tempe in Penang, this monologue tells the story of Salbiah - a 26 year-old factory worker – and her relationship with her policeman-boyfriend. Through a heady mix of news reports, popular anecdotes and imagined scenarios, this conflation of fact and myth slowly unveils and offers an explanation of what could have been behind this popular urban legend. APRIL 19: Shamaine Othman and Papi Zak at the Joke Factory
Shamaine is a writer, director, actor, improviser, and standup comedian whose work has graced the theatrical stage, television, and the silver screen as well. Her comedy work is equally impressive having performed as part of the sketch comedy group Projek Disko Baldi, the improv troupe AI:IA, and as support for standup acts Gina Yashere and Ronnie Chieng as well.
Together with her for this evening will be Papi Zak! He’s been writing, performing and doing stand-up comedy for over 12 years and continues to bring his quirky brand of humour and witty observations on the absurdities of every-day life to all this performances. With his deep baritone voice and laid-back charm, Papi Zak’s comedy stylings are sure to tickle your funny bone

Armed with an array of hilarious stories, personal stories and secrets he can’t keep, Chris Henry will have you falling off your chair in fits of laughter.
A staple of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and numerous festivals across Australia, Chris has performed across the UK, Canada, Australia, and his show Around the World in 80 Dates has seen him entertain audiences in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand, across Europe and America.

Kuah Jenhan is one of Malaysia’s biggest names in comedy and he’s joining Crackhouse s for their 5 Year Anniversary. Nominated for several prestigious awards including ‘Best Comedy Show’ at Perth FringeWorld, Kuah Jenhan brings audiences to fits of laughter with his razor sharp with, laser focused observations and irresistible charm.
Jenhan has performed across Malaysia as part of the MACC, as well as his own shows, but has also been invited by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to headline the inaugural Comedy Zone Asia in 2015 and has performed sold out shows in Perth, Adelaide, Darwin Sydney and Melbourne. He was chosen to open for Eddie Izzard in Malaysia and even has an ice cream flavour named after him! Be sure to get your tickets to catch this insanely talented comedian!
