To Which My Brother Laughed; is a devised work in response to the caning of the two women in Terengganu on Sept 3 2018 by the Malaysian authorities and inspired by the critical essay The Laugh of the Medusa by Hélène Cixous. This work will set out as Cixous brilliantly writes “to break, to destroy; and to foresee the unforeseeable, to project.”

MARCH 1: Crackhouse presents Scott Mitchell (SCO/SG)

Bringing a sharp and witty look at life, Singapore based Scott Mitchell shares his thoughts openly with his audience, ranging from expat observations to the struggles of fatherhood. Having performed in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Myanmar – to name a few, Scott was a finalist in the Fringeworld Comedy Festival's Best Show category in Perth, Western Australia. He's organised more than 500 comedy shows in Singapore and has worked with the likes of Russell Howard, Stuart Goldsmith, and Brendon Burns.
