Pisco is turning up the heat with one of the biggest Sunday events to hit Pisco! Pisco in collaboration with Groove Theory proudly brings to you a day of lots of FUN with an incredible line-up of DJs with Sunday Grooves this 10 July 2022.

Pentas 2: 9 – 17 July 2022: Philadelphia, Here I Come! (Theatre). Brian Friel’s Philadelphia, Here I Come premiered at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin on 28th September 1964. It ran on Broadway for 326 performances and earned several Tony Award nominations. The original play, set in the fictional town of Ballybeg, County Donegal, has been adapted for the Malaysian stage by Joe Hasham OAM and takes place in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. It has been staged thrice to critical success – in 1994, 1998, and 2013 – each time to full houses. He revisits this iconic play and brings back some of its original cast members including the beloved Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican and Patrick Teoh along with all-new cast members.
Pentas 1: 7 - 10 July 2022: Sound of Peace by Imee Ooi 黄慧音 (Music). Well known throughout the Buddhist world for their chanting of sutras and mantras, the affinity that musician and singer Imee Ooi and Kanho Yakushiji share bring them together in a united effort to kickstart a live concert tour in South East Asia, to spread music for world peace. Imee Ooi celebrates 23 years of her music career since her debut in 1999 singing the Heart Sutra (Prajna Paramita) in Sanskrit. Likewise, Kanho Yakushiji, currently a Rinzai monk in Japan, has garnered millions of views on his YouTube channel, popularizing the Heart Sutra (Hannya Shingyo) in Japanese, inspiring many around. Collaborating with Imee Ooi and Kanho Yakushiji in this concert tour will be JSJG, the Man’s Dharma Vocal Group formed by Imee in 2016, dedicated to serving the Dharma through singing.
