Pentas 2: True Love Waits: Tribute to Radiohead concert is happening this week (19-20 August 2023 ) during the YSDAF the festival finale on 19-20 August 2023. About the Show:It took Radiohead 21 years to release “True Love Waits” and three years for “True Love Waits: Tribute to Radiohead” to finally premiere as part of YSDAF 2023’s pre-festival highlight. This tribute takes you through the extraordinary legacy of one of the greatest bands of all time. Fans will be stoked to hear songs spanning three decades starting from their debut single Creep through albums like OK Computer, Kid A, Hail to the Thief and their latest offering A Moon Shaped Pool. Led by directors and music directors Ian Chow (Best Musical Direction, BOH Cameronian Arts Awards) and Mak Chi Hoe as well as co-director and choreographer Kenny Shim, this multi-sensorial feast combines the 30-strong The Young KL Singers (Best Group Performance – Vocal, BOH Cameronian Arts Awards) performing haunting harmonies arranged by Dr. Tracy Wong with an immersive multimedia and LED installation by Wee Jia Foong, movement by the Kenny Shim Dance Collective and music by cellist Eugene Chong, electric guitarist Daniel Lee and loop programmer Ian Francis Khoo.
