Janet Lee returns to BoboKL with the WVC MALAYSIAN JAZZ ENSEMBLE and her eclectic collection of songs given the Shanghai jazz and vintage Malaya twist.

BoboKL also has music All Week Long. Go with friends for casual fun and good music. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are Bobo LightNights. Tuesdays showcase Guitar n' Jiwa with various guests.

Following the successful sold out show ‘Baroque Elegance’ last year, Wicked Music People and The klpac Orchestra are back with another exciting collaboration. VISIONS – Music & Imagery of the Baroque is a confluence of the past and present — baroque music on period and modern instruments in unison with a rich digital tapestry crafted by award-winning creative talent Zen Lin Tan. With operatic arias of the 17th and 18th centuries sung by veterans Chi Hoe Mak and YiLing Chaing, as well as a diverse selection of instrumental works by Henry Purcell, Michel Corrette and J.S. Bach featuring guest flautist Keiko Nakagawa, Visions reaches into history through the technology of today to present an experience that is unique and immersive. Presented by Wicked Music People & The klpac Orchestra.

The Butterfly Lovers 祝英台 – A Stage Production 26 March 2023 (2 performances) at Pentas 1 KLPac. Following the success of the stage play adaptation of the most celebrated classic Chinese novel “The Dream of Red Mansions,” Symphony Theatre now presents the stage adaptation of a poignant, true love story from ancient China, “The Butterfly Lovers”. “The Butterfly Lovers” is a grandeur stage performance, based on a historical Chinese legend with an enormous cast of 35 actors and actresses. The epic story of “The Butterfly Lovers” is based on solid historical facts, whereby the production team has conducted numerous research and studies of historical documents. After the monumental success of “Dream of the Red Mansion” stage play, Symphony Theatre Production brings together the talents of drama directors, actors, composers, lyricists, singers and scriptwriters from China, Taiwan, the United States, Australia and Malaysia to present this unforgettable love affair. The female lead, Zhu Yingtai, will be played by internationally-acclaimed singer and actress Jessie Chung, who has developed her career in China, Australia, Taiwan and Malaysia. The male lead, Liang Shanbo, will be played by American director and actor Paul Lee, who majored in drama and music performance at an American University.
