Pentas 1: Unforgettable: Lagenda Malaysia(24 - 27 August 2023) extended run. A collaboration between directors Ian Chow and Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican as well as co-director Joe Hasham OAM, this tribute pays homage to legendary Malaysian artistes from the 60s to the 90s that have become household names such as Sudirman, Saloma, P. Ramlee, Ramli Sarip, M. Nasir, Sheila Majid, Alleycats, Search, Wings, and many more. Sit back and enjoy a magical evening of well-known Malaysian tunes performed by Fuad of Kyoto Protocol with Alisya Jamali, Andrew George, Hazziq, Lisa Marilyn Anthony and Miza Rosli.The six vocalists will be accompanied by a 30-strong The klpac Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Lee Kok Leong (Music Director) and a 4-piece band led by Jacqueline Teng (Co-Music Director / Band Leader / Keyboardist). This heart-warming tribute to honour our rich musical heritage is the perfect way to celebrate Malaysia’s Merdeka month and usher in the Malaysia Day celebrations.

Pentas 2: Seruan Setu – The Secret Gardens of the Sea - 23 – 26 August 2023. Experience an enchanting musical journey that spotlights Malaysia’s endangered seagrass ecosystems through the magic of the performing arts. Seagrasses are vital to both marine life and coastal communities, yet their rapid decline is often overlooked. These concerts, a continuation of gamelan specialists Rhythm in Bronze’s commitment to connecting environmental issues with the arts, features original gamelan compositions interwoven with compelling stories of seagrass and the communities that depend on them. Be inspired by the power of music and storytelling, and take action to preserve our precious natural heritage.

Indicine: 23 August 2023. Test Is Best by Sharmaine Othman in collaboration with TAS. Test is Best is a comedy show featuring some of Malaysia’s funniest comedians testing their brand new material. Watch these comedians take the stage to craft their jokes, refine new routines and explore new comedic territory. Live at Jao Tim

Live at Jao Tim presents Saint Kylo Does Originals this Friday 25 August 2023. Festival funk and soul for the one and only Saint Kylo as he moves from his covers appearance at Jao Tim two weeks ago, to his support slot for MacAyers at The Bee last weekend, back to Jao Tim this Friday for a night of originals. The multifaceted musician has seen his musical spectrum and portfolio grow within Malaysia over the last few years. Known for putting on high octane and energetic live shows, he plans on bringing his sultry voice and infectious on-stage energy. And now, with another solo single release Paid For out on the waves, this should be an interesting night indeed. Saint Kylo will be joined by Chee Seng on guitar, Jack Lim on piano, Euwyn Tan on bass, Weed on trumpet, Irma Seleman on backing vocals and Solomon David on drums.
