Fragment and fono KL present Synth City Vol 2 this 28 October 2022 bringing together established names in the regional music scene: Fragment (ft John Ashley Thomas, Q Sound, Analog K, Shakey Shakey), Njwa, Dangerdisko (DJ set) and Kingston (DJ set).

Fragment is the brainchild of acclaimed drummer John Ashley Thomas. This group combines the freedom and harmony of jazz, and the driving beats and synths of breakbeats and house, comprising drummer Thomas, producer, artist, musician songwriter, trombonist Q Sound, producer Analog K and bassist Shakey Shakey
NJWA’s music has taken her all across the globe from Europe to Japan to Hong Kong. A brilliant songwriter and performer with a clear, unwavering vision of how she perceives music.
DANGERDISKO is a name synonymous with Kuala Lumpur’s glittering nu disco and synthwave scene. Shaheed Naz and Robotron 5000 are Kuala Lumpur’s most established and prolific DJ/Producer duo.
KINGSTON, a member of the Public School KL DJ collective and resident at the well loved music and art space fono KL‘His mix is a real flowy selection of steppy, organic percussion, fully embracing the energy of a jungle rave that somehow burrows its way into a basement.
Synth City Vol 2 is presented by fono KL, sponsored by Fred Perry Malaysia, and supported by Plural Asia and Sound of Life.

Live music at Crane KL to accompany your eats and drinks and cocktails in the heart of Chinatown KL.
