Live music at Crane KL to accompany your eats and drinks and cocktails in the heart of Chinatown KL. This week Live at Crane restaurant downstairs 8pm onwards brings you some of our hometown greats and veterans in our live and jazz music scene and some new generation rising stars.

Wednesday Night brings you veteran jazz guitarist vocalist sometimes known as the George Benson of Malaysia – Jordan Rivers to perform at Crane KL today.

Then there's Thursday Night with equal veteran in the scene – singer songwriter and visual artist Karen Nunis.

The inimitable recording and performing artiste Russell Curtis, who has written and produced many original songs which have received airplay on several major radio stations, takes over for Friday Night.

Saturday Night meanwhile brings you Allan G and Puteh. And to end the week, there's Sunday Chill and Jive from Sunday noon with Mary Jackson and Eddy Zachariah on vocals and piano.

All-day dining begins at noon (Sunday 10am) and closes at midnight with the last order at 11.30pm. A breakfast menu will be offered on Sundays. MERDEKARYA LIVE

The grassroots live music bar continues with music and performances and highly original music from homegrown artistes. This Saturday 10 September 2022, the one and only Cats In Love step in to perfrom. For a staple diet of rock n' roll, it's hard to beat the regular haunt, and there's nothing more de rigueur than Merdekarya for a hip-shaking, bone-rattling time with them.

As for the week itself, this Wednesday it's original singer songwriter Ian Tai; on Thursday there's original indie rock from Marco George; while Friday goes original rock with Skies Are Red.
