Get ready for Asia’s jazz icon, Jeremy Monteiro, at Simply Jazz this 5 and 6 April 2024. Known as Singapore’s King of Swing, Jeremy Monteiro is a highly respected jazz musician celebrated for his outstanding contributions to the jazz scene over the past 4 decades and more. He recently achieved a remarkable feat, topping the charts with his 50th album, "Live Upon Nassim Hill," within 24 hours of its release in March 2024. This weekend, performing with him will be Cliff Wong (drums), YHFoo (bass) and Julian Chan (saxophone).

Al Terry's Blues Syndicate makes its Bobo KL debut this weekend this 5 to 6 April 2024. The “syndicate” delivers high-energy harmonica driven Chicago Blues and West Coast Jump Blues. Australian Blues harmonica master, Al Terry, has been on the blues scene playing festivals and clubs in Australia and South East Asia for over 25 years. Al's rich vocals compliment his Blues Harp playing and he assembles the best of KL’s Blues musicians to be a part of the Syndicate. Havana Jazz Tumbao Project is a group that specializes in Cuban music and Latin América, the main purpose of the band is to expose more of the Cuban culture and music in Asia and the world. Founded by Marco Antonio Alonso who is a musician, guitarist and producer hailing from Cuba and has been calling Kuala Lumpur home for the past few years. He has toured extensively in the region, sharing his Latin jazz music with the locals.
