Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac). The Glass Menagerie, widely regarded as Tennessee Williams' most famous work, catapulted him to fame and won Best American Play at the New York Drama Critics’ Circle Awards. This will mark director Christopher Ling’s (Best Director, BOH Cameronian Arts Awards 2012 and 2023) first time directing Williams’ work after watching the same play at the Donmar Warehouse, UK, in the late ‘90s. Ling was blown away by how Asian the themes of familial ties, escapism and isolation were. Cast: Tria Aziz as Amanda Wingfield, Aidil Rosli as Tom Wingfield, Cahaya Jais as Laura Wingfield, Azwan Ahmadi as Jim O'Connor.
