Pentas 2: TUTAS Conservatory of Performing Arts students bare it all in their latest offering “Oh Blue, I Love You Too” premiering on 8 August until 11 August 2024 at Pentas 2, The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac). Head Director Mark Beau de Silva worked collaboratively with Assistant Directors - Fatin Nur Alya, Adhikananda Kevin Tandiono, Scarlett Lau Wen Yi, Ayleshvar Raj and Samuel Wong Judd Whye - to devise this piece based on the students’ real life experiences and stories. Part of the TUTAS’ Production Practicum module helmed by Dato’ Dr. Faridah Merican and Joe Hasham OAM, this new work on love and relationships will speak to the youth of today. “Oh Blue, I Love You Too” explores facets of relationships that form our history, influence our being, and present us with decisions that shape our destiny. Apart from original text primarily in English with a dash of Bahasa Malaysia, the performance will also showcase movement and live music by musicians Eleanor Elizabeth Lim and Marco Chong Zhuang Siu as well as vocalist Dhakshayni Jegatheeswaran.
