Alex and Sandra are back with their successful Aussie show at Ril’s Bangsar on the 21st April. Aussie songs from the 1960s onwards. Classics and international hits. Alex on harp will get those toes tapping. Sandra will get you on the dance floor with Kylie and co.
Sandra is a regular at Ril’s with her band InTown and has a broad repertoire from jazz and show tunes to classic pop and disco. Alex is well-known to the KL scene for his rich blues voice – and he plays a mean harmonica. They are teaming up to give you a trip down memory lane or to simply discover the variety Australian contemporary music has offered the world the last 60 years.
They’ll be covering locally and internationally successful tunes from The Seekers, Skyhooks, Rick Springfield, Little River Band, John Farnham, Olivia Newton John, Mondo Rock, AC/DC, Australian Crawl, The Angels, Cold Chisel, Kids in the Kitchen, Peter Allen, John Paul Young, Kylie, Lenka and more.
InTown, led by Ui Li Loh on the keyboards, Mizzie on lead guitar, Pito on bass and Ruvi on drums are a busy bunch of talented musicians, who also play independently for well-known Malaysian singers and visiting international singers.
They’ll also have Kenneth Lee (if you like Sinatra, Buble or Connick Jr, you will melt) as their guest crooner.
