It has been two months since Music Platform Live Fact KL's last show prior to the lockdown. Like all venues since the MCO and CMCO, LIve Fact in PJ has not been operating and are feeling the financial impact of the crisis.
As a host to international acts, local bands and singers, the self-sustaining and DIY space main source of income relies on door takings and beverage sales so without any events, it is has become a challenging task for them to keep things going.
A short term approach however to surviving the ongoing epidemic and with the hope that live events will resume in a not too distant future they have come up with several options for musicians, producers, videographers to hire their space for projects including, Album Recording priced at RM300 per day or RM50 per hour excluding sound engineer, Video Recording at RM300 per day or RM50 per hour and Live Rehearsal at RM40 per hour (Fully equipped).
Also In line with current Standard Operating Procedures implemented by MKN expect;
1. Practice safe social distancing (1 meter apart).
2. Sanitize your hands frequently. (Sanitizer will be provided).
3. Use of face masks.
4. Temperature check at the entrance.
5. If you're unwell or showing symptoms of the disease please seek treatment immediately.
6. Payment via online transfer only.
7. Admission to the premise limit to max 10 persons only. (Band members and production crew only)
8. You will need to provide your personal details, ie. full name, IC and contact number.
9. Musicians are advised to bring your own microphone, headphone and sanitize your equipment before your arrival.
To further ensure the safety of everyone, Live Fact we also sanitize their equipment, musical instruments and other contact surfaces before and after each session.
