Nobu Kuala Lumpur opens new restaurant at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur

After months of waiting, Nobu Kuala Lumpur has finally opened its swanky new restaurant at Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. This comes six years after the brand launched Southeast Asia’s first Nobu at Menara 3 Petronas.

The new restaurant has exciting features that will elevate the guest experience with a more accessible location, three private dining rooms, state-of-the-art kitchen and an all-new Sake Room.

Upon arrival, you’ll find a lovely view of the KLCC Park with the iconic water fountain that lights up at night to accompany you as you indulge in Nobu’s signature dishes. Muslim guests will be pleased to know that there are suraus conveniently located at both Level 2 and Level 4A.

On the opening of the new restaurant, co-founder of Nobu Restaurant Group, Nobu Matsuhisa, said, “Nobu Kuala Lumpur was our first location in Southeast Asia. We were very fortunate to have amazing local partners who were instrumental in successfully bringing the Nobu brand to Malaysia.  With almost six wonderful years at Petronas Tower 3, the 56th floor will always be special to us, not just because of the spectacular views, but because of the spectacular team who helped to build Nobu KL. We look forward to continuing the same Nobu standards of high quality food and quality service in a beautiful setting at our new home at the Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur.

The Sake Room serves sake from a brewery in Hokusetsu, Japan that makes it exclusively for the Nobu Group. The new addition can host up to a dozen guests at a time and provide both an experiential and educational journey on the different sake available and which dishes they should be paired with.

The bar is now located closer to the entrance and is perfect for those looking to have casual drinks or meetups with friends and colleagues. It’s equipped with an extensive list of liquor and specially concocted cocktails perfect for every occasion. For those that struggle to decide on which elixir to indulge, the friendly resident Bar Captain will be sure to assist you in picking something that suits your taste buds.

One of the more noticeable changes will also be the island kitchen, where guests can marvel at the craftsmanship and skill of Nobu Kuala Lumpur’s chefs as they prepare their array of delectable dishes. This is right alongside the Sushi Bar headed by Head Sushi Chef Chico, who will serve guests authentic sushi experiences from right over the counter. Aside from preparing dishes, guests can look forward to interactive and inventive approaches that Nobu will be adopting to serve them food. Nobu will reintroduce the table side experience for special promotions where a certain dish is prepared in front of the guest by the chef himself.

Nobu Kuala Lumpur will debut some amazing new dishes such as the Pan Seared Scallops with Yuzu Truffle Sauce, New Zealand Lamb Chop with Rosemary Miso and one of their owner’s personal favourites, Fresh Water Prawn with Anticucho Hazelnut Sauce.
