Malaysia's most anticipated festival is coming back to the chilly peaks of Genting Highlands this 20 and 21 September 2025. From the creators of NEON Countdown and NEON Music Festival comes Asia's premiere melodic techno experence.

This month, Sunset by NEON returns for two unforgettable nights. Surrounded by clouds and mountains, immerse yourself in a journey of powerful music, breathtaking views, and a community that lives for the rhythm. The magic starts at sunset with 7 headliners, 6 international debuts and a host of regional and local acts to be featured through the weekend.

From melodic techno royalty to underground names, this line up is built for those who know, and those about to discover. If you were there last year, you already know the energy they bring. Adam Beyer: Techno royalty is coming to the mountains — legendary Drumcode founder and one of the most influential figures in global techno — will make his long-awaited Malaysian debut at Sunset by NEON 2025. From the underground to the world’s largest stages, his sets are deep, driving, and completely immersive.

 

 

Adam Beyer occupies a firm position among the few techno originators who’ve stayed at the top of their game since the 90s. Beyer has performed at nearly every club and festival around the world multiple times, he’s the first to have racked up 100 Awakenings appearances, he’s turned in two rounds on Radio 1’s Essential Mix and an entry into fabric’s mix series.

Massano: Hailing from Liverpool and now a global force, Massano’s signature blend of aggressive sound design, hypnotic grooves, and cinematic melodies has been shaking the world’s most iconic stages — from Afterlife Tulum to Printworks, HI & Ushuaïa Ibiza, Creamfields, and more.

Kasia: Rooted in rave culture and trained in rhythm, Kasia brings her signature blend of hypnotic percussion, emotional depth, and driving melodic techno to Malaysia for the very first time.

Indo Warehouse: This duo is known for blending South Asian sounds with deep house and melodic techno, taking over dancefloors from Coachella to Burning Man.

KREAM has been on everyone’s radar with their addictive blend of melodic house, deep grooves, and high-energy drops.

Argy: Last year, he lit up the peaks of Genting with one of the most unforgettable sets we’ve ever seen. This year? He’s coming back for more.

Korolova has been quietly shaking the global melodic techno scene with a sound that’s euphoric, emotional, and made for golden-hour raves in the mountains.

KUMA: Holding it down for the homegrown underground, Malaysia’s own KUMA. A true pioneer of the local techno scene, carrying Kuala Lumpur’s heartbeat into the highlands.

Also featuring regional acts Phatcha and Ten and a full on Malaysian line up featuring Azran, Axel Groove,Victor G and Alam, Shazan, RXB, CXW, Mr Yang, MTR and San.
