Ohrwurm's First Show for 2024 swings back to PISCO KL this 26 January 2024, and they are excited to feature for the first time in Malaysia Dimi Angelis (Axis Records / Mord, NED) as their special guest.
Thinking of Dimi Angelis we can rapidly associate his name with pounding sound, high quality releases and an iconic trajectory. Being faithful to his sound, Dimi has evolved over the years to one of the most renowned producers and DJs worldwide. Going back in time to the nineties, Dimi has since then been one of the key figures shaping the techno scene we appreciate nowadays in the Netherlands.
His path was marked by releasing on top notch labels such as Axis Records, Warm Up Recordings, Mord, KEY vinyl, Tar Hallow and the co-owned label A&S with Jeroen Search. This led him to play in major techno institutions such as Berlin's Berghain and Tresor, and the Netherland's Awakenings and Dekmantel.
Another fruit of Dimi’s creativity is his solo label ANGLS, which provides straightforward and ruthless techno. In the past years, Dimi has been a steady guest in different continents, playing frequently in Latin America, Asia and the USA.
Alongside Dimi Angelis' debut in Malaysia, support for the night comes in from Ohrwurm honcho Alam, together with Aduti and Hakim Rani.
