Malaysia’s Largest Water and Music Festival, Out of The World Music Festival (OOTW) begins the much awaited 3 day water and festival from 19 to 21 January 2024 at KL Base, Sungei Besi, KL.
This announcement answers the calls of the fans to reveal the unreal day by day line-up as well as further things to expect at this second edition of the festival.
On 19th of January 2024, Day 1 of the festival sees OOTW presenting an industry first. A full female live and DJ line-up on the mainstage featuring international, regional and home grown acts. Headlined by World Top 50 EDM act, the duo Nervo from Australia, as well as featuring Taiwan’s #1 hardstyle female act Cyndi and one of Indonesia’s best hip hop exports Ramengvrl. The amazing support acts include the much talked Cherry Bomb, V-Gene and a live performance by Jeryl Lee. This is a stage that unites talent, beauty and some serious Girl Power all on one stage.
Earlier in the day, The Splash Stage will see the festival the fun factor turned up to 100 with KL’s coolest collective Saturday Selects and their merry crew of well known DJs. Get excited for Roshan, Irama, Nadia, Gasing and a not to be missed B2B set with Reddi Rocket and I-SKY that is guaranteed to be one for the books.
On Day 2, 20th January 2024, you’ll experience the return of one of the most talked about DJ’s in the world, Steve Aoki. The evening will feature DJ sets from Indonesia's award winning Weird Genius as well as Malaysia's very own superstar DJ Blink. To start the night will be Perry Kuan and Bad M.O.B, followed by a much awaited live performance from SonaOne and Singapore's hip hop wunderkind Alyph. Expect serious vibes all night long with this main stage offering.
On the Splash stage to start the day off soundtracking Malaysia’s biggest inflatable water park, are some of Malaysia’s best DJs curated by organiser Genesis Entertainment. Featuring DJ Suki, Suicide J, DJ Christine, GemVee, Aason, Phileon and JuJu.
The festival energy will reach peak levels on the 21st January 2024, the third and final day of OOTW 2.0. One of the most talked about DJ act in the world is coming. James Hype with his incredible showmanship and technical skills, will blow the main stage away. Closing the festival will be Singapore's DJ Inquisitive who will be bringing a live surprise element to his show. Supporting on this stage are some Malaysia’s best home grown heroes Rachel B, Nahsyk, Curzon and crowd favourite Chuckies & Whackboi celebrating 10 years as Malaysia’s favourite hard dance duo.
On the Splash Stage will be a debut stage hosted by the famous crew from Pitt Club KL featuring Sherry Alyssa, Mike Hype, Dirty Signal, Nick Davis, Mili, Xeption, Sunraeeee, Mike Zooka, hyped by MC Wu & D-Tee bringing their signature energy and style for the waterpark goers.
Festival goers can enjoy food and drink from all around the world with experiential areas curated by the organiser across the festival, along with doing a spot of shopping at the merchandise and partner areas.
The biggest draw is to be able to enjoy yourself at the water park, which is recognised as the biggest inflatable water park in Malaysia. Slides, rides and super wet fun with water guns will be the order of the day at OOTW 2.0. Gates open at noon on each day of the festival.
