PJPAC will be making its Grand Debut into production with the magic of Cinderella: A Hilarious Musical for all the family! (May 30th - June 2nd)
This debut production initiated by PJPAC is with the ambition to bring performing arts / local talents closer to home to the residents of Bandar Utama and the surrounding neighbourhood with PJPAC as a platform to enable our local artists and talents to thrive and shine.
This is not the Cinderella everyone knows; it is packed with live music, topical jokes, audience interaction, a K-Pop flavour and above all a whole new level of visual pleasure that will bring the audience a fun & memorable experience.
CINDERELLA tells the story of the supremacy of love, empathy and kindness, over cunningness, selfishness, bullying and greed; loaded with humour and a touch of magic. It transforms and transports the classic fairy-tale to reflect the crazy times we live in!
Dress up contest
On the specific show - 1st June (Saturday) 3pm matinee, the audience is given an opportunity to play dress up, the shortlisted best dress candidates will be invited on stage and the winner of the Best Dressed title, will take home attractive prizes.
Exhibition
There will be a mini exhibition showcasing the history of panto, musical theatre and Cinderella to allow the audience to learn more about the theatrical genre and how it has influenced the Malaysian audience with a the magical cast features rising stars - Mia Sara Shauki, Brian Chan and Nabil Zakaria; the well known comedians Joanne Kam and Papi Zak; and the incredibly talented actors to name but a few.
