After a successful preview in June, Malaysia’s first ever conscious day party, Rise At Dawn (RAD) returns to settle in its new monthly home - Republik Damansara Heights on Saturday, 7th of September 2019 to bring their signature flow of yoga, dance and meditation to a generation of healthy, conscious yet trendy KLites.
RAD is the brainchild of lifestyle entrepreneur Emily Lie of Prism PR, together with the founders of boutique event management agency PLURAL, Karla Wong and Adam Mathews.
It was conceived to be a hybrid flow of yoga, dance and meditation in a compact but uplifting 100 minute session at the break of dawn. A RAD attendee would leave the event feeling elated, rejuvenated and excited for what lay ahead.
The preview event in July, held at the rooftop of 163 Retail Park, featured renowned yoga teacher Claudia Gallo teaching yoga and conducting a meditation session, along with one of KL’s most sought after DJs JonnyVicious, saw almost 50 attendees. The response and feedback was so positive that the creators of RAD immediately put into plan a monthly series which will now be homed at the newly launched Republik Damansara Heights.
“I left that morning feeling inspired, motivated and ready for the day”, says JonnyVicious, DJ and RAD’s music director. “For the next session, I want everyone to find inner peace at RAD through my delicate selection of sounds from far and wide while they stretch their limbs and free their minds!”, he continued.
RAD will be launched at its new home Republik Damansara Heights at 7am on September 7th with renowned yoga teacher Savy Ho along with music director JonnyVicious providing the soundtrack for the session. The event will start with a 40 minute yoga session led by Savy Ho, followed by a 45 minute session with Jonny providing the beats to dance along with our friends from Team Mayhem. Before we part ways to resume our daily lives, Savy will take the attendees on a complete relaxation in "Savasana" to meditate with a deeply calming sound bath to melt into peace and inner stillness.

RAD is a monthly event, held on the first Saturday of every month from 7am to 9am. Tickets are priced at RM60 for limited early bird, RM 70 pre-sale and RM80 at the door for the event. Attendees can opt for a RAD brunch package priced at RM 105 which includes entry to RAD and a delicious brunch package provided the newly launched Blonde, a modern restaurant situated within Republik Damansara Heights.
Republik is a new dedicated food hub, hangout and event space for the local community nestled in the heart of Damansara Heights.
